First Takes--Winters The Movie

Go see the first outtakes of Winters The Movie On Winters' site, Winters Fables. It is Lady Bonds' first opportunity directing and filming a major motion picture. She is delighted to be working with seasoned actors such as Winters, who played the title character in Oliver Twist at the age of 6 at his comprehensive school annual musical.

(N.B. YouTube has unfortunately clipped Winters' final words in all of the clips, which are, uniformly, "Damn! I buggered it up!")

Hallo Josh!

Thanks! Unfortunately, all I can see of those hearts on my silly ole Mac are lines like these: ||||

But I can get other shapes...¢∞§¶•ªº–≠£™¡`œ

Lady Bonds...see comment on Winters' site. I get a long darkness...

Is something wrong...or is it just at my end?

Long darkness? Uh oh...you mean on the YouTube videos? There might be something worng on your end...though both YouTube and Blogger can be fickle...let me/us know if you can't see it...

Ah, Fool, if you mean, "everything is a long darkness after Winters says, 'smiling my toothy grin,'" then you haven't missed anything except the part that YouTube chopped off, which was Winters saying, "Damn! I buggered it up!"

But if you missed the videos entirely, then you have missed only about 2.5 minutes of Winters' and Lady Bonds' late night nonesense on the streets of Paris, aided and abetted by a crappy digital camera that holds up to about 5 minutes of video time.

If you are *dying* to see said video, I'm sure we can arrange it somehow, though I'm sure better takes will be made as Lady Bonds learns to control her hysterical laughter while feeding Winters his lines.

(G@wd, I hope this isn't one of those cinema verite' offerings, where he delivers the pizza and then you beckon him in as some Seventies jazz with a fuzzy bass line and a wah wah pedal soundtrack starts up...)

Zen, We're not quite there yet.

Give us another few weeks to figure out how the derned camera works (took 3 hours to figure out how to load it).

I no longer have my Southern accent, do I? What would you classify it as?

Thems cool shapes....I feel your pain I tried posting a video and ended up running out into the street naked and crying. I'm better now.

Just a generic Midwestern newscaster accent.

Oh, by the way, great job feeding him his lines from off-camera, Spielberg! Ever heard of cue cards?

But Zen... Zen... The Thrill of Danger indispensable to Winters' pathos is ontologically incompatible with cue cards.

As for the southern accent, beautiful Bonds, I hope you are reserving it for an upcoming French-language episode.

Josh; Put your clothes back on, at least 'til April. You'll freeze out in them parts of the world.

Carla; Thank you, m'am! We'll be hard at work on a new take as soon as we go buy new batteries...

Zen; Good to know that I *did* pick something up living in Chicago all that time...

Duchess; How lovely to see you! Yes, you are correct in your analysis of Winters' ontology. Multi-lingual versions of Winters--The Movie will be available shortly.

Fool; You are indeed a delight, as always. I have commented no less than 5 times on your site over the last few hours...

Tildey-Dee! My word, at last we meet! The honor and pleasure is all mine. I have heard of you through Winters...you are welcome here whenever you wish.

When I think of our good friend Winters, for all his good intentions, I do not think 'Oscar material.' No, when I think of him, I think quite different thoughts.

Dear Lady Bonds, it is a pleasure to meet a woman of such standing, grace and breeding as yourself. Such qualities are innate, and can no more be learnt than forgotten.

I trust and hope that our paths might cross again someday.

Barnes
